Brantley loses her battle to cancer

A 17 year old girl from my hometown was diagnosed with ovarian cancer on December 17th. High schools and businesses across the county were raising money to help support her health care costs. Less than a week ago her high school sweetheart proposed marriage to her while she was in her hospital bed. Yesterday, she passed away.
After wiping the tears from my eyes when I read the news, I said a prayer giving thanks for my health and the many blessings I have been given in my life. I hope you take a second to do the same. Life is so precious. May God's presence surround her family and friends as they mourn her loss.
